Permissions
I agree to all Colonel Light Gardens Primary School OSHC terms and conditions, fees, session times, bookings and cancellations etc. as stated in our Family Handbook which can be found on the OSHC Seesaw page or Colonel Light Gardens Primary School website – parent information – OSHC.
Emergency Medication
I give permission for OSHC staff to administer emergency medication such as a Ventolin inhaler or an adrenaline auto injector (Epi Pen) in the case of a medical emergency.
Sunscreen
I give permission for sunscreen to be applied to my child/children by OSHC staff if necessary.
Movies
I give permission for my child/children to watch movies rated G however there may be times that an available movie is rated PG.
Vacation Care & Pupil Free Days
By booking my child/children into programmed Vacation Care or Pupil free days via “Fully Booked” I give permission for my child/children to participate in all activities on incursion and excursion days including being transported to and from locations using chartered buses. I have seen and am aware of activities on the Vacation Care Program and the details published on the program for each day. Risk assessments are prepared for each incursion and excursion and are available at CLG Primary School OSHC in hard copy form and digitally on the OSHC SeeSaw page. The Vacation Care program will be available for booking on “Fully Booked” from week 5 of each term and bookings will close on Friday of week 8 of each term (week 7 of Term 4) to ensure staffing and bus transportation numbers can be finalised. Less than 48 hours’ notice of a cancellation will attract the full fee. Less than 2 weeks notice of a cancellation for each Excursion day will attract a cancellation fee of $20 per day.
New children attending OSHC
Please let your child/children’s teacher know when your child is required to attend OSHC especially new receptions and occasional users.
Signing in and out
Your child/children must be signed in/out at the beginning/end of the day whenever they attend OSHC or Vacation Care. This is a legal requirement in order to claim Child Care Subsidy. During Covid 19 pandemic staff will sign in/out all children)
Childcare subsidy (CCS) for reduced fees:
The Australian Government provides Child Care Subsidy to help with the cost of child care. To be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy you need a myGov account linked to Centrelink. You will need to provide information and details through myGov.
The following requirements must be met:
the child must:
- be a ‘Family Tax Benefit child’ or ‘regular care child’ and
- be 13 or under and not attending secondary school and
- meet immunisation requirements
the person claiming the child care subsidy, or their partner, must:
- meet residency requirements and
- meet the Child Care Subsidy activity test (or be eligible for an exemption) and
- be liable to pay for care provided under a Complying Written Arrangement (their written agreement) with their child care provider
It is your responsibility to ensure that your CCS details are up to date and correct.

Late pick up fee
Any child that is picked up after 6.15pm will incur a penalty fee, which is $12 every 15 minutes (i.e. $4.00 every 5 minutes). If you are going to be late picking up your child/children please ring the service as soon as possible. Be aware that after 6.15pm, every attempt will be made to contact you or any other emergency contact to collect the child /children.
Cancellation policy
If your child is not going to use the OSHC or Vacation Care service you must cancel 48 hours before your booked attendance. The only exception is if your child is ill and has a doctor’s certificate; however, the service still needs to be notified by 9.00 am on the day. If 48 hours’ notice is not given or a doctor’s certificate is not supplied you will be billed.
Vacation Care: A cancellation fee of $20 per day will apply to all excursion days cancelled within 2 weeks of session.
